I installed the prayer center and it worked fine . Now I want to redirect the prayer request to newly created email id . I didn't find any clue where its taking the email and sending the prayer request to old email id . Could you please let me know where I can find the email id and change it . Thanks for your help .

I think you are asking about the email approval email?? If so, here is how you do it:



Your email is sent to the Users that you have listed under the "Approval" tab in configuration area. These users are defined in your Joomla Site User Menu.



What you would do first is go to Site/User Menu. Create a user and enter the name, group and email address. Pay special attention to which group you set them up under.



Once you have set up the user, next go to Components/Prayer Center/Configuration/ click on the "Approval" tab. Select the "group" of the people that you want to receive the email for approval and select that in the "Approval Distribution" drop down menu. It will now send an approval email to everyone in the group that you defined.



I also use this function to send a notification to my cell phone so that I know that there is a pending prayer request. I just set up a user in User Menu and instead of email address I enter the text messaging phone number. For example if you are using AT&T, you would enter it like this #########@@txt.att.net (Obviously you would replace the "#" with your own phone number.) Usually your cellphone provider will give the information on their website that tells you the correct text number to use.



(If anyone knows how to approve a pending prayer request by replying to the text sent to a cellphone, I'd be more than grateful for that info.)
