Hello,

I've encountered a problem with the content plugin which causes any non-breaking space ( ) in any content item to be displayed as a question mark in a diamond in FF or Opera, and as an empty square in IE (unrecognized character).



I find that if I comment out line 49 of plugins/content/scripturelinks.php, the non-breaking spaces render correctly.





Have you run across this issue before?



Using:

Scripturelinks plugin 1.5.7

PHP Version: 5.2.13

Web Server: Apache

Web Server to PHP interface: cgi

Joomla! Version: Joomla! 1.5.20 Stable

Database, table and description fields are all utf-8_general_ci collation

Thanks for this post, I have spent hours going through my site removing non breaking spaces. This appears to solve the problem though not knowing code I have little idea why.
